We are seeking an experienced and Electrical Shift Engineer to join a growing team.
Key Responsibilities include:

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
-
Quick response and efficiently dealing with any breakdowns
-
Fault diagnosis and efficient repair of equipment
-
Record keeping and reporting
-
Compliance with site and statutory Health & Safety requirements
Requirements:
-
HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
-
Time served electrical apprenticeship (essential)
-
PLC Experience (Siemens preferred)
-
Counterbalance Forklift Truck license (desirable)
-
5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C which include English, Science and Mathematics (essential)

Experience responding to electrical breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable

A ‘hands-on’ approach to supporting the maintenance and wider team when required
-
Self-motivated to complete workload and tasks within deadlines
-
Organised and ability to prioritise

Good all-round communicator

Excellent attention to detail
-
Excellent time keeping
-
Able to work unsupervised on own and as part of a team when required

Excellent analytical skills
-
Experience in FMCG
