    Our Client is a well-established manufacturing business. The company specialises in the production of high-quality aluminium aerosol containers, supplying a diverse customer base ranging from global blue-chip organisations to smaller, bespoke clients across the personal care, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors.
     
    Operating from a modern, state-of-the-art facility, the business has achieved steady and sustained growth, driven by a strong focus on operational excellence, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships. It supports high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing processes within an FMCG environment, with a clear emphasis on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
    We are seeking an experienced and Electrical Shift Engineer to join a growing team.
     
    Key Responsibilities include:
    • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
    • Quick response and efficiently dealing with any breakdowns
    • Fault diagnosis and efficient repair of equipment
    • Record keeping and reporting
    • Compliance with site and statutory Health & Safety requirements
     
    Requirements:
    • HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
    • Time served electrical apprenticeship (essential)
    • PLC Experience (Siemens preferred)
    • Counterbalance Forklift Truck license (desirable)
    • 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C which include English, Science and Mathematics (essential)  
    • Experience responding to electrical breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable
    • A ‘hands-on’ approach to supporting the maintenance and wider team when required
    • Self-motivated to complete workload and tasks within deadlines
    • Organised and ability to prioritise
    • Good all-round communicator
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent time keeping
    • Able to work unsupervised on own and as part of a team when required
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Experience in FMCG
