Project Engineer
We are working with an established System Integrator company based in Nottingham, UK.
They are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join their team.
In return for a salary up to £60.000 along with excellent employment benefits.
Our Client are a leading provider of automation solutions within the warehousing and logistics industry, specializing in the design, integration, and installation of control systems for complex logistics operations.
As part of ongoing expansion, they are looking for an experienced and skilled Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of conveyor system projects.
This role involves close collaboration with the project management and design teams to ensure each project meets technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
You will play a key role in coordinating and executing project activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities include:
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field). Professional certifications or training in project engineering are an advantage.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the conveyor systems, automation, or manufacturing sectors.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of conveyor systems, automation technology, and mechanical and electrical components.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).

Familiarity with project management software (MS Project).

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Detail-oriented and organized, with strong project documentation skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Proactive and solutions-focused with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
