    We are working with an established System Integrator company based in Nottingham, UK. 
     
    They are recruiting for an Integration Spares Manager to join their team.
    In return for a salary up to £45.000 along with excellent employment benefits.

    An opportunity has become available for a Spares Manager to join the team, working with their customers and internal teams to deliver efficient management and availability of spares required to support Client’s integration’s project delivery and ongoing service commitments.
     
    The successful candidate will be required to support procurement with vendor selection, inventory control, distribution of parts to satisfy deadlines and maintain business continuity for the end customer. Leading the existing team in implementing strong stock control processes and supporting design in identifying warranty trends.
     
    Key Responsibilities include:
    • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and availability for projects and service commitments.
    • Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships to guarantee continuity of supply.
    • Monitor and forecast demand for spare parts using project pipelines and service agreements to prevent shortages or delays.
    • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to identify and confirm spare part requirements during design and implementation phases.
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives and optimise storage, logistics, and distribution processes for efficiency and reliability.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance, audits, and internal reporting purposes.
    • Leverage digital tools and systems to enhance visibility, tracking, and reporting across the spares management process.
    • Ensure timely delivery of components to meet project deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.
     
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and digital tools for tracking and reporting.
    • Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting and stock optimisation.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, project, and service teams.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
     
    Desirable Qualifications and skills:
    • Experience within an engineering, integration, or automation environment.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced inventory management software.
    • Understanding of logistics and distribution best practices.
    • Ability to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
    • Professional qualifications in supply chain management (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).
    • Experience in managing spares for complex projects or multi-site operation
